1999
Scientific foundations
Dr. Yu received his PhD in organic synthesis from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and began leading new drug design projects in universities and institutes in the USA.
2007
Commercial leadership
Janet Du received her MBA from the University of Chicago and joined Thermo Fisher Scientific, working in product management and marketing in the biotech industry.
2013
Active Peptide founded
Dr. Yu and Janet Du established Active Peptide Company, headquartered in Cambridge, MA, then a 12,000-square-foot laboratory in China — receiving the 2013 Technology Innovation Award with one million dollars of funding from the China High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
2014

Dr. Loren Pickart, the inventor of GHK copper peptide, strongly recommended the Active Peptide brand and uses large quantities of our GHK products in his cosmetic brand Skin Biology.
2017
International audit passed
Passed the on-site audit from Hyundai Bioscience, one of the largest cosmetic companies in Korea. Its brand Vitabrid launched in Barneys New York using Active Peptide products as its major ingredients.
2019
GMP manufacturing
Established a 5,000-square-foot GMP laboratory and a three-floor, 30,000-square-foot manufacturing site, and won the National Fastest-growing Potential Award from the China Overseas Scholars Pioneer Park Alliance.
2020
Three national patents
Three national patents granted to Dr. Yu for developing advanced liquid-phase technology for large-scale peptide production.
